Crescent Bearers (1939) Lagos has concluded plans to open an architectural wonder- The Crescent Bearers Mosque, Abijo, Lagos on Sunday.
The mosque, which was handled and completed by Patrick Waheed Design Consultancy (PWDC), was donated to the Abijo community as part of The Crescent Bearers (1939) Lagos’ CSR drive to promote community-focused educational, religious and socio-cultural activities in the area.
From its inception, the Crescent Bearers (1939) Lagos has been a leading voice for modern-day Muslims.
It was founded with the objective of promoting the attainment of Western education by folks of the Islamic faith, for their collective improvement and upward social mobility within a then-colonial society.
