Muslim Association of Nigeria (MAN) has urged Nigerians to intensify more in praying for the nation to overcome the rampant security issues across the country.
Also, the association recommended vigilance, cooperation with security agencies to curb lingering security challenges in the country.
In a release signed by the President, Tajudeen Ojikutu and National Publicity Officer, Hon Mudirakat Ajibona, the association charged all to pray for the country, leaders and security agencies.
MAN urged citizens to be vigilant and report suspicious activities on time to appropriate security agencies, adding that the nation will be peaceful only when the country’s security is not threatened.
The group implored the government at different levels to look into the suggested recommendations and demands dispassionately with a view to addressing them for the good of all.
“ MAN implores all individuals and groups with genuine demands and claims to do the same in ways that would not constitute a danger to the well being of other law-abiding citizens.”
The group seeks prayers from its members in Nigeria, United Kingdom as well as from well-meaning Nigerians over the security issues confronting the country.
